Woodguard Wood Preservative and Log Stain
Woodguard is an all in one semi-transparent oil based log stain and EPA registered wood preservative. Woodguard is designed for use on log homes, cedar or pine siding, as well as shake shingles. In a newly-released independent study of the Log Home Industry conducted by Jerry Rouleau & Associates of Hanover, N.H. Woodguard was the exterior log stain and wood preservative most recommended to consumers by log home builders and dealers nationwide. The survey also revealed that more log home models were treated with Woodguard log stain than any other product.

M-1 Paint/Log Stain Additive
M-1 is a paint/log stain additive that is registered by the EPA to kill and control mildew and to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. Recent tests by the National Bureau of Standards proved that the active ingredient in M-1 is the finest fungicide available and far superior to its closest competitors. M-1’s active ingredient was the only fungicide that gave complete protection against mildew after two years of exterior exposure at the NBS exposure site in Puerto Rico. The effectiveness of other fungicides began to drop drastically after just one year. M-1 Paint/Log Stain additive is packaged in 15 oz plastic jars. A jar is designed to be added to a 5 gallon pail of Woodguard log stain to provide extra protection against the growth of mold and mildew.
NBS-30 Paint/Log Stain Additive
NBS-30 is an insect repellent paint and log stain additive designed for use in any oil or water based exterior coating. It will deter and inhibit all types of insect activity including ants, cockroaches, beetles, mites, spiders, fleas, ticks, silverfish, dirt daubers and wasps from burrowing through or crawling on exterior coatings. NBS-30 Log Stain Additive also puts an end to ladybug infestation and stops carpenter bees and ants from drilling. It is effective in controlling crawling and nesting activity on painted or stained surfaces to which it has been added.
